Red Berry Apple

Here at red berry apple we have recently celebrated our first anniversary. We are Joyce and Nicola a mother and daughter team who have always enjoyed making things from scratch or modifying pieces to make them unique. The last year has been really hard work, often working long hours but it’s been very rewarding to see our business grow. On our website www.redberryapple.co.uk we sell a range of handmade gifts as well as a selection of items that we love and think you will too. 

Our personalised ragdoll is a firm favourite with girls of all ages. You select your colours and hairstyle and we create her especially for you. She makes a perfect thank you gift for flower girls and bridesmaids. Alternatively she is often used for the flower girls to carry down the aisle instead of flowers. She is also popular as a christening or special birthday gift.

Another popular item is our Super Hero cape which again can be personalised. They make fantastic thank you gifts for Page Boys and Flower girls, especially if they have been little stars on your special day. Our capes also make excellent birthday or Christmas gifts.

We are pleased that our little pocket mirrors have been a success with the apple and owl versions being popular gifts for teachers. The beautiful satin backed mirrors and the tartan silk versions make great wedding favours.

     

We’ve enjoyed some great feedback from our customers and recently we heard from a lady who had bought a cape as a christening gift. She told us that the little boy who received it voted it his best present that day!

As we head towards Christmas we are getting ourselves organised so we are ready for one of the busiest time of the year. Next year we plan to add new items to our range and to focus more on helping brides make their wedding day unique.

Pipers for Weddings

Something a bit different for your big day - a female pipe. With 30 years piping experience, both solo and pipe bands, I can play some "old favourites" for your wedding.  

My piping career includes a piper with Dunoon Grammer School Pipe Band for 10 years, 5 of which were as Pipe Major each of those years playing as solo piper on the balcony for "Lights Out" at Sunset Cermony, Dunoon (mini Tattoo); playing before Princess Margaret for the opening of Drimsynie Holiday Village, Lochgoilhead; performed with the pipe band on This is Your Life for Sir Fitzroy McLean in the days of Presenter, Eamonn Andrews; featured with the pipe band on Scotland Today presented by Angus Simpson which covered Cowal Europe in Belguim;  and, my highlight, receiving a pipe band prize from Princess Diana at Rothesay Games.

The stirring sound of the pipes is always well received and I enjoy playing for special occassions, burns suppers, weddings, etc and do so in a very professional manner.

The Cleveden Quartet is a well established string quartet based in the Glasgow area. We deliver a service tailored to your needs which will enhance your memorable day. We provide music for wedding services and receptions, parties, private functions and corporate events.
